I'm looking at buying this particular unit. You need to get the Maestro ADS-MRR unit separately and install it along with the head unit to retain the steering wheel controls, at least for Subarus (the maestro also allows you to view a range of diagnostic info like tire pressure, speed etc on the screen). I believe this unit already comes with a SXM unit that plugs into the port on the back.
