Hi Jason, yes, this TV support Netflix 4K. Dave
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. You _DO_ need to 'upgrade' your *etflix account too, to see the 4K content. Hope that helps. Incidentally - you _WILL_ need a fairly decent amount of bandwidth coming from your ISP, it HAS to be a consistent (fast) speed too. I don't care HOW many mention that theirs is working fine using WiFi, but as a network engineer you're STILL going to be better off with having the unit wired using Ethernet. (Wires!) There's (still) way too many variables that interfere with WiFi signals. The very least if you DO go WiFi be certain to go with those that support not only the 2.4Ghz frequency but the 5Ghz frequency as well. Leaving less of a chance of other devices, i.e. wireless phones which use the same frequency in MANY but not all cases, interfering with your TV getting the best/strongest and more importantly WiFi BANDWIDTH to give you a good image without all those: "Buffering" and "Loading" spinning wheel looking icons half of the time you're watching a movie. (Talk about getting frustrated!!!) If you can: - Go WIRES! Any Network Engineer will agree with me - though the _MOST_ recent WiFi units are indeed getting pretty close to being compared to wired connections. IMHO - WiFi STILL has it's flaws with interference coming from other devices. Even the newer cordless phones are using the 5Ghz frequency as well - why? For the reasons I'm mentioning to you here.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it does. There was a software update (which will install on power on) which provides this full compatibility. I watch both Amazon VOD and Netflix in glorious 4K. The only thing I will note is that the sound presently is not 5.1 out -- that is a software issue, a patch is forthcoming,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes and it's incredible. I bought the AppleTV and I am taking it back because it doesn't stream the 4K. The Sony does it right out of the television set. You're good to go.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
