easiest way to answer this is samsung uses a diff system of measurement when they say 120 or 240 because its not native. So when u see native 60 by soney thats 120 hz by samsung and when u see native 120hz by sony thats 240hz by samsung standards. I see it as a marketing skeem that sony doesn't bother with.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a Samsung plasma before this TV and plasma TVs are known for very fast refresh rates. I haven't noticed any refresh rate problems with this Sony TV with Olympic sports, football, or video games.
