• It does a fantastic job at upscaling. I was under the impression SD content will be worse than what I have seen in some non 4K TVs, but have been pretty impressed with the upscaling magic of this TV.

• Yes, this TV upscales everything. It will do its best to upscale 480P old movies, but you can tell that quality is not that great. With 720P or 1080P upscaling is flawless.

• Yes, there is upscaling taking place. First from your Blu-Ray player and then the TV.

• It will upscale to 1080 but it will only upscale to 4k if the source is 1080p.
