I recently had my tv mounted on a Sanus Advanced Tilt 4D TV wall mount and absolutely love it . No problems at all. I am able to adjust it any way I need it , down or side ways. The only way to go if mounting over something so you can have better viewing angles. I would absolutely recommend it.

Yes you can mount above fireplace tilted! I have mine mounted this way.

Hi AM11, Thanks for reaching out. We recommend using the correct VESA pattern mount that is compatible with this TV. You can mount flush or tilt depending on the mount used. If you do not need tilt we do recommend the SU-WL855 for a flush mounting system. Thanks, -Ralph
