“Shopping for a sound bar, I would like to know what the clearance is with the multi-position stand in the position raised to accommodate a sound bar? I am considering the Sony HT-A7000 sound bar that is 3.25 inches high.”

The pedestal stand I have has lots of available room. It's adjustable. 3.25 inches should be no problem.
