“Is there a fix for the dimming down of the entire screen when the TV detects static logos/HUDS or a bright Sun when playing video games ? This is a deal breaker. LG dims down only the static logos/HUDS and they don't even have the heat sink. Firmware fix?”

I have not had this happen to mine. I use my tv for gaming, watching 4K movies, imax mode, and cable tv, and haven’t had a single issue. This is hands down the best tv I’ve ever owned and I always buy master class televisions. I switched to Sony after being a strictly Samsung fan my whole life and I’m very happy I switched. Wish I could answer your question but I haven’t had any problems with mine. Also this is the only tv I’ve purchased where I prefer the tv remote vs the xfinity remote. Also this tv acts as a receiver for your house speakers so you get the best sound from the tv and your sound bar at the same time
