Myself as an owner I have yet to have this experience.**Please note: As with every single high-end electronic's device, I have ever owned**Software updates have always improved product performance within weeks or a couple of months. Sony is great with firmware updates and I am a true believer as I have had many Sony products over the years and they have never failed to rise to the occasion every single time. In life, there are always malcontent's and they are simply part of life. I love everything about my new Sony, now I am waiting on my Sonos Arc to complete my in-home theatre setup.
