My guess is that Sony expects everyone to wall mount the display. A quick and lazy measurement looks like it’s just over 2.75 inches tall. The space between the legs though, is about 46.5 inches. So the options would be very limited. It really seems like an oversight on Sony’s side because if they re-engineered legs or a stand so that ANY of their flagship soundbars fit, they’d likely sell more of their flagship soundbars. As it stands I’d have to wall mount it and/or get an aftermarket stand. Sony has given no indication that setting the soundbar ON the legs would be acceptable but the legs are a full inch on their own. Sony could have even made the soundbars form around the feet creating an even more elegant aesthetic but.. [shrug] it’s a Google TV with Sony branding.
