Yes, the supplied legs have a soundbar point to raise the TV an extra 2 1/4" above its normal position. TV without stand: 56 7/8 × 32 7/8 × 2 5/8 TV with stand: 56 7/8 × 33 1/2 × 13 3/8 TV in soundbar position: 56 7/8 × 35 3/4 × 13 3/8
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Jim, thank you for your question. When using the stand in soundbar position, it has approximately 56.88 inches width and 2.85 inches height (space for installing a soundbar below the TV). Hope this helps. ~Earl
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For the 65" version, there is 2.75" of space with the stands set to the Soundbar position. Right underneath the TV screen and slightly recessed behind it is a plastic molding strip or some structure for the TV. This protrudes a little bit lower that the TV screen itself so that is what I measured, So you have to measure the Soundbar and ensure the total height is less than 2.75". I know the Sony flagship Soundbar HTA7000 will not fit under the TV but it does but up against it just below the TV screen so nothing is blocked and it looks good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I did the research, wanted to make a Sony version work, but in end using the Samsung Q800A 3.1 system- better imaging and sound quality. Mine is wall mounted, and have soundbar resting on cabinet under tv.. Most great quality soundbars are ~~40 inches wide- too wide btwn the tv stand legs, unless it sits in front of it
