Sheri two ways to do it. 1. If your DVD player has an ARC connection then hook the HDMI from that to your TV ARC. 2. If DVD does not have ARC but you do have a Digital Optical Audio Cable input, then go from that to the TV. Since you have a really nice TV i would recommend upgrading to the Blu Ray UHD player. You'll be glad you did.
