Hi Nancy, you can go with either the STRDN1070 or 1080. Both models support 4k/HDR which will work great with this TV. Thanks, -Mark
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sony receivers should pair well with this tv. I used a DN1070. I would also choose a low profile Marantz. Purchase one that supports your surround sound, 5.1, or 7.1 or more. That will determine cost.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was in the same boat. My receiver blew up the week I bought the TV. Even if it had not, the Onkyo receiver 4k was not HDCP 2.0 and would not let pass through of copy protected media. Like you, I have a Harmony One remote. It was just simpler to get a soundbar with a wireless subwoofer and use the Harmony remote to control everything. After listening to the different soundbars, I actually settled on the Vizio. It received great ratings both online and CNET. It does not have HDMI but does have optical in. If I didn't already have the harmony remote, I might have gone with a slightly more expensive bar with an HDMI and ARC.
