Don't sit too close on 480i and it's not bad. Not super clear on 480 (ion tv..etc) but my 'regulars' fox, nbc, cbx, wb, abc send in 1080i.... but in reading on the internet things are going to change in the next 2 years that over the air stations will be sending signals in higher quality anyway...so I put up with it. With dvd's (which are at best 720, the upscale does a prety decent job) I knew this going in...so I have smaller tv's for my non-hd systems (gamecube, wii, ps2...) (One thing I didn't realize was that the original xbox one does not send hdr signal only the 'x' or 's' send...still the image is excellent for orig)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Everything I've watched on it is clear. Now, some of the older shows from the 60's through 80's on the oldies channels aren't as sharp as the modern programs but still very good. You can't expect them to look perfect but they are definitely watchable.
