“I have purchased this TV for our new home. I will be pairing it with the Sonos Playbar and Sub. Do I run the cable box HDMI to HDMI port 2 or 3 (with ARC) then run the optical from TV to the Sonos? Should run perfect? Thanks”

• Hi JL, congratulations on your purchase. If your soundbar supports ARC, we recommend connecting it to your TV's HDMI ARC port and use the other HDMI ports with your other devices. We recommend checking the manual of your soundbar for the most optimal hookup if it does not support HDMI ARC. Regards, -Mark

• I have run an optical cable from the TV to a stereo to get full sound from the on-TV apps (for all other uses I have HDMI to receiver, then to TV). Works great. Slightly different use, but same general idea.

• ARC is already audio pass through. You will not need optical if your SONOS is ARC compliant.
