We bought this 900E Thurs and a Sony entry level 290 sound bar w/sub....tv is great but sound bar sucks... NO HDMI connection for ARC function of tv...you downgrade the capability of the tv if sound Sys lack that function...the Best Buy salesman misrepresented the Sound bar's qualify IMO...the sub provides no bass presence...treble is good so the voice quality is better than the tv alone but the sound will not sync w/watching any dialogue...any channel. I can't watch it for that reason...there are sound bars at same/similar price (199) with much better quality
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The sound is adequate for a smaller space, however, for maximum impact befitting this size tv (65"), an external sound source is highly recommended. I have a Vizio 2.1 sound deck that I plan to hook up for the start of football season until I find something I prefer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The sound is adequate but not spectacular. If you're just watching television, it is probably going to be sufficient. However, for watching movies and other things with big sound, you need something to produce that big sound. All sound systems built into the television are not going to be produce the immersive sound, dynamic range or deep bass that help bring your favorite movies to life (okay, documentaries are movies and they are probably fine). :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sound is good, but sound bar is way better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I added a Bose sound bar. The TV is average at best.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This HDTV is quite thin and lacks bass. Skip the soundbar & sub, rather get a soundbase to place the set upon. BBY sells the ZVOX models 570 and 670 which do this TV justice. They are powerful and reasonably priced.
