“My new XBR65X900E is updated to latest soft. Its hooked up to my Onkyo TX-NR676 receiver. Randomly, the TV shuts off and the white power light goes off accordingly. The Tv had the latest soft and I have done a factory re-set with no success. Help Sony!!!”

I have the same Reciever and this did happen to me a few times. Is the reciever connected to the HDMI 3 ARC input. If not, try that.
