I've purchased a Samsung in the past and was disappointed when the I went to upgrade the OS and found out that the OS and the web site it was trying to get too for updates no longer existed. I called support and they said they no longer support their own OS I had to purchase a new TV. The Sony however, uses the android OS and you know that is going to be around a long time.
