“With the stand attached, what is the distance between the bottom of the tv base & the top of any TV stand to rest it on? My Sony soundbar is 3.5” tall, so want to place in front of TV & still utilize the remote without blockage to TV sensor. thanks”

It is 3" you may have to use a piece of wood or plastic square little bigger than the base can paint it the same color as your stand.
