Hi Raemo, Our Bravia KD-65X85J has a Direct LED backlight type. The HDMI 3 and 4 ports of this TV support features that are specified in the HDMI 2.1 standard such as 4K120, eARC (HDMI 3), VRR (via a future software update), and ALLM.
