“I currently have an X900E model that has its base in the middle of the tv and sits on a 40" wide stand. How far apart are the legs on the X85J model? I would like to purchase this tv without having to buy a new tv stand.”

From front to back, it is approximately 13 3/8 inches (338 mm). Unfortunately, your existing stand will not fit the table-top stand of our BRAVIA KD65X85J. You may want to hang this TV like a work of art instead, using the optional SU-WL855 ultra-slim wall-mount bracket. You may also want to check out other models that have a narrow stand position as an option such as our X95J, A80J and the new X90K. Hope this helps! Vincent
