I believe it does, I’m able to sign on to Hulu without a problem

Please try again later.The short answer is yes you can stream directly from the tv app, however there is a known issue with sony tv's having streaming issues in the past with the live feature of hulu tv. I also own a 2016 65" xbr with android tv (older version) that i had tremendous issues with streaming on the tv itself using downloaded apps. I ended up using an 4k apple tv for all my streaming services and it works fine for me. Now with this new tv it seems to be running a different (newer) version of the android tv software which is night and day compared to my older set. I have had zero issues and have been extremely pleased with its native streaming capability, while I've since switched to google tv from hulu for my live streaming sony has clearly fixed its issues with live streaming apps alll together and i imagine hulu works 10x better than it did on previous model years. Im no longer using separate external streaming devices and I'm not planning to based on how well this tv has performed so far. Hope this helps!
