“I cannot link my (approx. 10 yr. old) Panasonic surround sound to my new Sony Bravia. I ran the HDMI cable as well as the Optical cable, followed instructions on the TV settings, all with no luck. I'm wondering if the two are simply not compatible ??”

Hi Steve, We do apologize for the inconvenience. If your audio system doesn't support HDMI ARC. We recommend connecting it using two connections (HDMI for video and optical for audio).
