• The Best Buy retailers offers an extended return period to about January 14 for all purchases made within the jokiday season, presumably up to Dec 31. The manufacturer warranty is 1 year from date of purchase. To procure an extended warranty through Best Buy, see Geek Squad 2 or 5 year warranty, which can be purchased from the time you buy the tv or any electronic at Best Buy, up until the final day of return policy. If you bought the tv on or slightly before Black Friday, or December, you can still purchase an extended warranty through Geek Squad up until about January 14. Normally Best Buy offers 15 days of return policy, which I think is weak. I'd much prefer 30 days. But they've extended their 15 day policy somewhat for the 2020 holiday season.
