“All devices I have including my Denon x3600 are connected directly into my sony 75 inch 950g inputs. For best video/sound quality does it matter if connected this way versus run through the AVR as the hub? Both devices purchased from Best buy”

Wouldn't it be best to run everything through your Denon? Not sure if it truly matters to be honest. Worst case scenario you could try it through your Denon, and with bypassing the AVR hub. See what works best, looks best, and sounds best to you.
