“I am looking at new tv's. My old Toshiba LED has 240hz refresh, and it is 13yrs old! Why are the new tvs running 60hz and 120hz, tops?”

RCBOHNO there are units out there that have 240, 480,960,1020 refresher rate the xbr950G has a 960 rate but only produces 240 but it has an excellent contrast ratio the closest to an OLED with out the price great picture I love it!!!
