“What about blooming? Is there any evidence of it in this model like was the case with some of Sony's previous TVs?”

All led TVs will have some blooming. when I watch content on it (I have one) I don't really notice it all too often it's more on full black screens with maybe something random floating on them. It's definitely an improvement over the 900f though.

It hasn’t been an issue for me during normal movie/tv watching. The tv is in a fairly bright room. I don’t use subtitles often but do notice significant blooming with white subtitles against a dark background.

Blooming with default settings. Currently fine tuning settings and finding ways to minimize.
