I've had the same issue. Judging from Sony's support site, it seems this is pretty widespread. No responses from them as of yet. I did try to turn my subwoofer on/off to no avail. Best of luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, I would disconnect everything and see if the popping noise is still there. If not then it might be a device you have connected to the sound bar. If that is the case connect the TV first, then each device one at a time and see which one is causing the issue. If its making that noise all by itself take it back and exchange it! My first unit dropped shipped from Best Buy was damaged out of the box. Not Best Buys fault, maybe the shipper, maybe someone from Sony who knows. All that mattered was that Best Buy exchanged it! Good luck! Ken
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would double check your connections. Also check the order that you’re powering each item on. If your sound bar is turned on prior to the external input it could create a popping sound when it first received a signal. If the problem persists I would take it back, I have been using my sound bar for over a month almost continuously and I’ve had no issues. Sounds amazing especially with Dolby Atmos input.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same here, pretty frustrating for the cost of this equipment.
