Its designed to work as is. In the right environment of course. If you require more subs then you would demand more from the bar and you should definitely consider a component system instead. No sound bar of any quality will ever replace that. Adding a second sub would only drown out the speakers and never have the same sonic signature as the original sub. An analog output could be a way to get a sub to “work” but its not the ideal way. The unit would have to have a dedicated sub output.
