“I am unable to get ATMOS to detect using the ARC connection to the receiver. (Using TV native apps on my Samsung Q70R). When playing ATMOS content (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc) the receiver shows Dolby Digital Plus (DD+) but not ATMOS. Help?”

• Answering my own question: I needed to perform a factory reset and then go through setup again. Now ATMOS works with TV internal apps via ARC.

• I had this problem with my Sony and had to purchase a newer cable. But if you have a new one make sure if it is labelled source/display etc, it is pointed / connected to the right device.
