• You can only use pre-installed apps like Amazon prime, Hulu, Netflix, Youtube, Opera TV and a few more. You can`t install new apps on the main screen.

• It comes with some pretty good apps already installed. Has Vudu,Hulu,and Amazon Prime. Also has Plex inside the Opera tv app. Don't think you can download more though. You can add a Amazon Firestick to it if you wish.
