“How to stop DVD recorder from automatically turning on I have my DVD recorder hooked up to this TV through a HDMI cable, when I turn the TV on the recorder will automatically turn on too. Is there any way to stop this? I just bought the TV today and have never had this problem before. Thanks!”

Power off the DVD recorder when not is use. Unfortunately that is the only work aound.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am having similar issue. In my case when I have the cable and DVD box switched on, the TV automatically switches to Cable or DVD. I think it is a bug in the firmware. Unless they fix this bug this will not go away. You may have physically disconnect the HDMI from the DVD when you are watching cable.

Here are the steps. - Press Home button on the supplied remote then go to Settings - Select External Inputs Tab - Select Bravia Sync settings - Select Bravia Sync control and turn it off.
