This is my first OLED, only been using for 3 weeks, so certainly no issues for me to date. Have had a plasma (can't get those anymore) for 10 years and never a problem. Unless you do some very specific risky things, you're not very likely to ever have a problem, just regularly change up what's being displayed. See: www.cnet.com/how-to/oled-screen-burn-in-what-you-need-to-know-now/ This TV has some specific technologies to reduce the likelihood of temporary retention or actual burn-in, including pixel shift, automatic dimming on still images, and automatic & manual panel refresh. Hope that helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do gaming on the A9G 77" and no I do not have any burn in on my OLED display! ZERO burn in!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bought XBR65A1E (OLED) two years 11 months ago on Feb 18, 2018 from Best Buy. Not a single issue including no burn-in issues. Like Sony & OLED so much that we are thinking of giving this one to our daughter and her family, and buying us a larger Sony OLED, the XBR77A9.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From the reviews I’ve seen on YouTube addressing the burn in issue, it is really not much of an issue unless you use screen brightness settings like “Vivd”. As long as you use settings like “Custom” and you don’t watch hours on end of channels that feature really bright logos and have news Ickes at the bottom, then you should not have a problem. There are a few six-month burn-in tests that showed no signs of burn-in. It also helps if you get the TV ISF calibrated. Then you get an accurate picture that is way less likely to burn-in. It is a fantastic TV with a gorgeous picture. Highly recommended if you care about picture quality.
