Hi Gee, This is not the experience that we want you to have. Different variables may contribute to the TV turning off by itself. Rest assured that there are no known issues with the BRAVIA 8 TV. For optimum performance, it is recommended to install the latest software version of the TV. If you encounter this issue, make sure to turn off some settings of the TV (energy saver, sleep timer, auto shut-off). Disconnect all external devices from the TV (USB, LAN, HDMI, Antenna, etc.) except the AC power cord (mains lead) and verify that external devices are not causing the issue. If it has improved, reconnect the devices one at a time until you find the device causing the issue. If still not resolved, reset the TV to factory settings: 1. On the supplied remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button or HOME button depending on your TV. 2. Select Settings. 3.
