“adjustable stand width means what ? That there are multiple leg slots on the bottom of the tv? The tv will be setting on a 60 inch wide stand but the tv won't be centered on the stand because of where the stand sits in room. thank you for any input”

The legs can be reversed to provide a different stand setup, but honestly, if possible, having it wall mounted is truly the best option for it to look like a mounted piece of art while viewing. I had Best Buy total tech mount mine due to its size and it’s perfect. Cables are completely hidden.
