Can I directly plug the subwoofer to the headphone jack. It has its own amplifier.

The Bluetooth connection function of this TV will only work with wireless headphones, speakers, or soundbars that support Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) profile. A receiver or an amplifier is needed to use a subwoofer. Please also note that our A90J can be used with a component audio system and take the place of a center channel speaker instead of using a traditional speaker for that purpose. I hope this helps. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can add a subwoofer to the television. I went to Best Buy in person and they were showing me a soundbar and subwoofer. I didn't buy them because I have a soundbase. The back of the tv has connectors for speaker wire as well.
