This is not an answer, but a follow-up question for Sam. I just bought a new STR-DH590. Will the center speaker out to the +/- center speaker input on the 83" A80L give me Acoustic Center Sync capability?

This TV features Acoustic Center Sync that synchronizes the TV speakers with select Sony soundbars to reinforce the center speaker channel for clearer, fuller dialogue and more immersive sound. Please note: With the +/- terminals a surround sound receiver can be used to power the TV as a center speaker also. While the 3.5 S-Center Sync will work with the select Sony Soundbars.
