Hi Billmag, Thank you for your question. The height of the supplied TV stand of our XR-85X90K can be raised to accommodate a sound bar. It has a distance/height (between the bottom of the TV to the bottom of the TV stand) in soundbar position of approximately 3 inches (75.5mm). ref: Setup Guide - https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/5037/1ecb6c52fe78db2d07f3f4c6da89a2a5/50377021M.pdf You may visit your soundbar's manufacturers information to check if it will fit. To avoid any issues, we recommend using only the supplied TV stand of the XR-85X90K.
