For a non OLED set the image is pretty good. Pretty much about as good as you're going to let in LED. However, that being said, and comparing to the entire range of cheap crappy set and $5,000+ plus I would rate this set an 8 on a scale of 1-10, if you want a 9 or 10, you'll need to go with a much pricier OLED. I was seriously looking at getting an LG and ended up going with the Sony X90 because it does a better job at dark and black.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The black on the tv are very dark but still able to see and still see definition. Watching Harry Potter was very clear and you could see the things in the darkness, it was not a blacked out area.
