Sony would be the only entity that could answer this question. Since it appears that they monitor these questions, and have not responded, seems like they probably don't even know. Debating on getting this TV and its the one drawback from me pulling the trigger. I assume they could push an update for the TV to support Dolby Vision, like they did for the X900, but will they? The may not to protect to protect the higher end model.
