I found the answer. This TV does NOT have VRR. Therefore it will never work with any computer that has current hardware which his computer has. Its not the computer as the last answerer alluded to. It was the TV the whole time. Thats why my question didnt specify computer specs. That info simply was not needed. Info on the TV is what I needed... Current computers with current hardware simply will not work on it without VRR which this TV does not have.

Please try again later.If you are saying he has a computer hooked up to the tv, and using it as an 85 inch monitor, i would imagine, the computer does not have the proper hardware to support what he is trying to do, or the balls to actually do it, you left alot of info out, like type of operating sys, windows or mac, etc. Maybe an upgrade on the computer hardware, ie video card, etc, or a new computer, Hope this helps !
