Hi maustin816, we apologize for the inconvenience. Last week, a U.S. Sony Support article was updated and incorrectly removed the reference to future support for VRR and ALLM for the X900H series. Please note that this was an error, and the plan to support these features is unchanged from the previous communication wherein we state that the X900H will support VRR and ALLM via a future firmware update. The article containing the erroneous information on Sony Support has been updated with the correct information: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/televisions-projectors/articles/00246472. Software updates are released at different times, depending on the operator, market, region, or country. Therefore, we cannot give you an exact date when the update will be available for your TV. We recommend visiting our support website sony.com for future updates, information, and announcement. Our apologies for any confusion this may have caused! Should you need more assistance or information, please email the below information to [email protected]. Apologies if you disclosed some of this information in your review and to customer service, we just want to ensure that we have your accurate details at the time of communication. Full Name: Best Buy Username: Telephone Number: Sony TV Model Number: Additional Information regarding your experience with the X900H: Thank you so much for choosing Sony! Sincerely, Romeo
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You spent 2500 on a tv that didnt have VRR and ALLM out of the box? Did you really purchase this tv for VRR and ALLM? Did you purchase tv's in the past for this? The TV is great as it is now. I play COD, Gears and Ori currently at 4k 120 and have zero screen tearing and the picture looks great. Not OLED great but still great. If you would have caught the tv during the holiday sale you could have bought it for 1900 but 2500 is still a great price for an 85". I take it you purchased it because it fit your budget and why not, its a great tv. If you cared so much about VRR or ALLM you would have just paid 3500 for the 77 lg CX. Final Thoughts, x900h is a great tv with great color and brightness that allows you to play games in 4k at 120 fps for games that allow it which is not many in the first place lol The tv can handle 4k 120 beautifully so currently even without VRR the tv looks amazing. not saying VRR isnt important but how long have you been playing games? Have you felt a need for VRR in the past? You made a great purchase at a great deal for a great tv. Don't stress over VRR because you watched some people complain about it not coming on youtube. Trust me you'll be fine BTW I have XSX going directly into HDMI 4 and in HDMI 3 going to my receiver and PS5 directly into receiver and I experience no screen tearing and sound syncs up perfectly with movies. The Receiver is a 7.2 Pioneer Elite with no eArc ports and my set up works with eArc going into the Arc port
