“Are the 4k and 8k tv's really worth it? Broadcasters are not really sending over signals in 4k yet. None at 8k and current infrastructure doesn't even support 4k. So, what's the advantage over UHD or lesser 4k's?”

This TV is absolutely worth it. It is a bit of an investment but even if your not on a channel that supports 8k the crisp audio this TV emits is like a portal that sucks you in and makes you feel like you are really there.
