Why can't I pre order the sony a1? null

They’re probably at their limit of pre order availability. For about three weeks it showed pre-order just changed over recently to the greyed out button.

I agree with you. I would get it at BestBuy so i can have a local place to bring if for cleaning. I plan to buy it here once avail.

You were probably too late. I pre-ordered it and even that got cancelled because they didn’t have the inventory. Terribly frustrating.
