“I am mainly going to use this camera for makeup shots but I am about to go to the carabieans for vaca & I was wondering if this camera is good for taking nice vacation/ beach/ scenery photos? I heard that this camera can over heat easily or break.thoughs?”

I bought This camera for my wife for the same reasons and works great. We also took it to Puerto Vallarta and Cancun and no problem. Takes really nice pictures.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This camera would do great for those shots. Just put it in in smart mode. It'll adjust the lighting as necessary. As far as overheating... I can't say much about it on that as I don't keep it out. I have left it in my car a few times and it still functioned perfectly. Fragile yes. But any camera is. Just don't go throwing it around. Check out some reviews on YouTube, I'm sure that'll help. But as far as picture quality this one is amazing. Also with video.
