Yes you can upload and share while away. You have to download an app on your phone and you can connect your phone to the camera wirelessly. Then you can share all the photos you choose to your phone. I highly recommend this camera it takes very nice pictures. I bought the one with the extra kit lens and I am very impressed with it.
