This camera can take decent video. If you are looking for a camera to mainly take video I would look at something else. This has no audio ports, so you will have to record the sound separately if you are trying to any kind of serious video work. I would take a look at the Panasonic G7. I own both the Sony a6000 and the Lumix g7. Both cameras are very good cameras for the price. I take stills with my Sony and video with my G7. But for video work I would seriously consider the Panasonic G7.
