Is this camera fast enough for indoor basketball? null

Yes. It has a Auto Scene Mode. Sport Action Mode definitely works. The 2 kit lenses that usually come with the camera are ok at shooting basketball but you could purchase a separate lenses that would do even better.

It is, but you really need to consider the lighting. As far as specs, the auto-focus will be able to do well...if you have the right lens. Indoor gyms rarely have great lighting so you'll need a faster lens so you don't need to boost the ISO up too much to get grainy pictures. I've shot basketball with a 50mm f1.8 and it looked pretty good.

Yes, this camera is capable of 11 fps. It also adjust's to high, med and low settings in the continuous shot mode. The camera is very fast and very accurate, because you can set the auto focus to many different settings, tracking a person in traffic with other people. I tested it out and it basically locks on your subject and won't lock on another subject. It's great!

Obviously this is dependent upon your lighting conditions. I used it in some very dimly lit churches quite successfully. It does have interchangeable lenses so you may consider a fast lens.
