Can the battery be recharged? How to do it? null

I bought the Sony A6000 about 6 months ago and LOVE IT!!!!! Light, great, quick follow focus. Biggest complaint was how quickly battery wore down. Yes, it's rechargeable with the cord that links camera body to recharger, but I found I could only shoot sports (high school tennis match, soccer) an hour or two before battery was nearly dead. So I bought a second battery (nearly $50) and then found that Sony makes a separate recharger -- Bower - Battery Charger for Sony NP-FW50 - Black Model: CH-G107SKU: 4290770 -- for $20 -- and those are terrific!

Hi Marion, The camera can either be connected to a computer with the Micro USB cable, or the USB cable can also be attached the AC adapter that will plug into the wall outlet. Make sure that when you charge the battery it is turned off. Thanks -Zander

It comes with one rechargeable battery. You can plug it into a wall or with the included USB.

It takes about 1 hour to charge the battery. I like that the cord to charge the camera is the same as my cell phone, so if I forget to charge it, I can charge it on the go in my car.

This will come with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
