Is this a full frame or cropped frame camera? null

This is a cropped sensor camera. A very good one.

The A6500 is not full frame. It is an APS-C camera. The advantage to the A6500 is that it has many of the features of the A7 mIII wit a smaller sensor. Outside of the sensor size, it has more features than many of the other A7 cameras. This is a great value when you compare price and function with many other full frame cameras. In comparison to other APS-C cameras, there is nothing that is competitive with the A6500.

This is a cropped sensor camera. When choosing focal length for your lenses take the focal length of the lense you are looking at and multiply by 1.6. For example the Sony 10-18 ultrawide would be a 16-28 on a cropped sensor.
