“what is (are) the power source? does it have an electrical power source to plug into the wall or does it only have batteries that need to be charged or batteries that need to be replaced? I may be old fashioned, but I just want a new alarm clock radio that plugs into the wall. I've have a Sony dream machine for over 30 years that is beginning to die now.”

The radio has an electrical cord, has a disc battery backup for when the electric might go off line,is automatically set to EST. the buttons are set on back of radio if you have to change time zone.
